Terms of Service

Stereotune is a universal music library. It lets you organize songs, albums, and mixtapes across the music services you already use, and share them with friends. Stereotune is not a streaming service: it never hosts, downloads, or re-streams audio or video. Playback always happens through each service's own official player or link.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Usernames are unique and must not impersonate others.

When you use features that rely on a third-party music service, that service's own terms apply. In particular, features that use the YouTube API Services — searching for official videos and playing them in YouTube's embedded player — are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

You agree not to use Stereotune to download, copy, extract, or re-distribute audio or video from any connected service, and not to circumvent any service's playback, regional, or rights restrictions.

You keep ownership of the content you create in Stereotune (mixtapes, posts, replies, and dedications). You grant us the limited right to store and display that content so the service can work — for example, showing your posts to the friends you chose to share with. Do not post content that is unlawful, harassing, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.

You agree not to misuse Stereotune: no scraping or automated bulk access, no attempts to bypass security or access controls, no uploading of malicious code, and no use of the service to violate the terms of any connected music service.

Stereotune, its design, and its branding belong to us. Music metadata, artwork, and videos belong to their respective rights holders and services; Stereotune displays them only as links and references.

Stereotune is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Availability of any connected service, video, or track can change at any time (for example, if a rights holder removes it). To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On deletion, your profile, library, posts, and friend connections are removed.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify members in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
